of all ages and levels. Please note:
you do not need any previous experience of drama to follow this course. You need an
intermediate and above level of English to participate in this course.
Course Summary This course will engage you in a series
of practical and energising drama based activities for use in the language
classroom. These activities will help you develop better group dynamics,
sharing skills and a heightened awareness of the ways you communicate
with your students. What are the key course contents? Topics include: group co-ordination
and trust exercises warmers for
the classroom using the body
to learn vocabulary and language structures story telling
techniques creative play
through improvisation using the voice and body developing
your own communication skills using intonation,
stress, rhythm and pauses for dramatic effect. Exercises to

age group. Funding Participants may apply for an EU grant to fund tuition, travel, accommodation and subsistence. Applications for grants must be submitted by 30 March 2007.
